氩弧焊在焊接过程中会产生大量的紫外线辐射，对皮肤和眼睛损伤很大，长期大量的辐射，还会得皮肤癌的可能，所以要作好防护，工作服要穿防紫外线的，尽量不要裸露皮肤，并戴防护面罩和眼镜（电焊专用），还有，焊接中还会产生臭氧，有的人对臭氧过敏，引起呼吸困难，如有此症状，请采取隔离措施。
